During his address at the Global Fintech Fest, PM Modi mentioned that India has made the spirit of democracy a strong pillar of its governance, saying, “Moving ahead today, India is among the most technologically inclusive societies in the world.”
Speaking about the digital infrastructure and its expansion, the PM said India has democratized its digital technology and has made it accessible to every citizen with reach in every corner of the country. “For us technology is not just a tool for help, but also a medium to ensure equality.”
“The India stack has emerged as the hope of light for the world , especially the global south. Today we are not only sharing technology but helping other countries to develop the same and it is not a digital aid, but digital empowerment.”
“Thanks to the efforts of India’s fintech sector, our native tools are gaining worldwide importance. In India, our approach is based on 3 pillars: equitable access, population‑level skill development, and responsible deployment.”
“India has always supported global framework for ethical artificial intelligence. In India, AI means inclusion for all.”
PM Modi was joined along with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Reserve Bank of India Governor Sanjay Malhotra and other dignitaries at the event.
