“Aadhar Card Bhi Bheju Kya?”: Tendulkar Clean Bowls Internet in Reddit AMA

Sachin Tendulkar’s recent Reddit AMA turned out cheeky laughs aplenty as the cricket icon showcased his signature wit alongside his cricket wisdom, leaving fans entertained with some truly hilarious responses.

The Lighter Side of a Legend

Known globally for his calm demeanor on the pitch, Sachin Tendulkar flipped the narrative during this AMA, playfully engaging with fans who attempted to stump him with quirky and challenging questions.

One of the most viral moments was when a fan asked Tendulkar to prove his identity by sharing a voice note. Responding with classic Indian humor, Sachin wrote, “Abhi Aadhar bhi bheju kya?” (Should I also send my Aadhaar card?), immediately winning over the forum and triggering thousands of amused reactions.

Not only did Sachin later post a photo of himself pointing to the fan’s question on screen, but his ability to poke fun at himself earned him even more affection.

Deflecting Debates with Humor

Sachin’s wit was on display when asked to settle one of cricket’s oldest debates: “Which bowling attack was more dangerous, West Indies or Australia?” Rather than take sides, he answered, “Why? Are you intending to play them?”. The tongue-in-cheek response transformed what could’ve been a dry analysis into a moment of collective laughter, reminding everyone of Sachin’s playful approach to heated cricketing debates.

Umpire Antics and Cheeky Solutions

Perhaps most hilariously, fan asked Tendulkar about his longstanding issues with umpire Steve Bucknor, infamous for several close calls against Sachin.

Laughingly, Tendulkar quipped, “When I am batting, give him boxing gloves to wear—so he can’t raise his finger,” poking fun at Bucknor’s reputation for raising the finger in contentious LBW decisions. This unexpected jab at Bucknor’s umpiring brought out the lighter side of former cricket controversies and had fans reminiscing about classic on-field moments.

Risky Shots and Nostalgic Laughs

When pressed on whether he ever played risky shots just to unsettle bowlers, Sachin admitted that he had—and particularly against Glenn McGrath in Nairobi, 2000.

This recollection was a wonderful walk down memory lane, as Sachin explained his calculated risks with vivid anecdotes about launching balls into the stands purely to break the bowler’s rhythm.

The God Himself—Username Humor

Sachin Tendulkar’s Reddit flair “The God Himself,” became another talking point among fans. Considering how he’s often called the “God of Cricket,” his cheeky adoption of this moniker on Reddit displayed his self-aware sense of humor. Fans delighted in his willingness to embrace the meme-worthy status and poke fun at his own legendary reputation.

Candid Yet Cheeky Answers

Beyond the jokes, Sachin offered heartfelt responses about his career—his favorite innings being the 2008 Chennai Test against England, and tactical decisions including promoting MS Dhoni in the World Cup final. Even with serious questions, Tendulkar often found a way to thread humor, leaving the audience not just informed but charmed.

Tendulkar Dispatched all Questions with Aplomb

Sachin’s AMA was a masterclass in combining cricketing insight with lighthearted banter, turning what began as a Q&A into an unforgettable sharing of laughter and nostalgia.
