Deepa Chadha and Ira Bindra elevated to key leadership positions at Tata 1mg and Reliance Industries

Tata 1mg, an online pharmacy, has appointed Deepa Chadha as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). 

Before joining Tata 1mg, Chadha served as Senior Vice President – Human Resources and Corporate Affairs at Vistara – Tata SIA Airlines. She has also worked with organizations like Jabong, Airtel, Genpact, Oracle India, and Ranbaxy. 

A graduate of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Chadha holds a Master’s in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR). “Excited to start my new role as Chief Human Resources Officer at Tata 1mg!” Chadha announced in a LinkedIn post. 

In other news, Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man, has appointed Ira Bindra as the new Group President for people, leadership, and talent at Reliance Industries Ltd., signaling a shift in the conglomerate’s people policies. Bindra becomes the youngest and the first non-family woman to join the company’s influential Executive Committee. 

A graduate of Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi (1998), Bindra earned her MBA from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands, in 1999. She has held leadership roles at GE Capital, GE India, GE Healthcare, and GE Oil & Gas before joining Medtronic in May 2018.
