Preethika Sivaraj joins Siemens Healthineers as Deputy General Manager, Marketing

Siemens Healthineers has appointed Preethika Sivaraj as Deputy General Manager, Marketing, for its Point of Care Diagnostics division in Bengaluru. In her new role, she will be part of the marketing leadership team, with a mandate spanning brand strategy, commercial excellence, pricing, go-to-market initiatives, demand generation, customer engagement, and strategic growth programmes.

Preethika brings more than 15 years of experience across healthcare, industrial technology, and optical solutions. Her career has focused on building brands, developing product and go-to-market strategies, strengthening customer engagement, and aligning marketing initiatives with broader business objectives.

Before joining Siemens Healthineers, Preethika held leadership roles at Bosch Power Tools, Carl Zeiss, and Essilor. Across these organisations, she worked on strategic marketing initiatives covering brand building, demand generation, public relations, brand protection, and business growth programmes.

Her experience spans both consumer-facing and technology-led businesses, giving her exposure to markets where marketing increasingly plays a role beyond communications and brand visibility. Her remit at Siemens Healthineers will similarly connect marketing strategy with commercial priorities, with a focus on strengthening the Point of Care Diagnostics division’s market presence and expanding adoption of diagnostic solutions.

In her new position, Preethika will work on initiatives designed to strengthen the division’s brand and commercial proposition while supporting growth across its markets. Her responsibilities will include developing market strategies, driving demand generation, engaging customers, and supporting pricing and go-to-market decisions.

The appointment comes at a time when healthcare diagnostics are increasingly shaped by the need for faster, more accessible, and efficient testing. Point of care diagnostics, in particular, can play an important role in enabling healthcare providers to make quicker clinical decisions by bringing testing closer to the patient.

With her cross-sector marketing experience and background in healthcare and technology, Preethika is expected to bring a commercially oriented approach to the role. Her mandate will involve translating customer and market insights into marketing strategies while ensuring closer alignment between brand, commercial, and growth objectives.

At Siemens Healthineers, she will now focus on strengthening the marketing engine for the Point of Care Diagnostics business and contributing to its wider growth agenda in India.

The appointment adds another senior marketing leader to Siemens Healthineers’ India operations, while giving Preethika an opportunity to build on her experience across some of the world’s leading healthcare, optical, and technology businesses.
