Sunetra Pawar wins Baramati bypoll

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and Deputy Chief Minister has won the Baramati Assembly by-election reinforcing the party’s strong presence in the constituency. After her victory Pawar dedicated the mandate to the memory of stating that the people’s support reflects their enduring trust in his leadership and vision. She described the moment as emotional noting that the results brought back memories of Ajitdada’s close bond with the people of Baramati.

In a post on X she urged party workers and supporters to avoid victory rallies and celebrations including the use of gulal and to maintain restraint. “Let us uphold dignity and follow the values he stood for,” she said.Thanking the voters Pawar called the result not just a political win but a responsibility. “This is not the end, but the beginning of determination struggle and a new Baramati,” she said.

She also assured the people that she remains committed to carrying forward Ajit Pawar’s vision and focusing on development infrastructure, and public welfare in the constituency. The result is being seen as an important boost for the NCP in Maharashtra’s political landscape.
