CEO Selection Process for Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Reaches Final Stage

16 accomplished professionals shortlisted after a rigorous multi-stage selection process

AYODHYA, AUGUST 13: The selection process for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra has reached its final stage with the successful completion of face-to-face interviews of 16 shortlisted candidates.

The final rounds of interviews were conducted at the Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra campus in Ayodhya on August 11 and 12, according to a press statement issued by the Search Committee.

The selection process has been conducted through multiple stages, with the committee undertaking a comprehensive assessment of candidates on management capabilities, leadership qualities, professional experience, vision, strategic planning, communication skills and technological expertise.

The process began with 5,585 applications, of which 3,877 candidates submitted detailed CVs. Following a comprehensive evaluation of 1,580 candidates, around 111 applicants were invited for online interactions.

After the online assessment, 16 candidates were selected for face-to-face interactions in Ayodhya. The finalists, aged between 50 and 70, include accomplished professionals from diverse backgrounds such as Army veterans, retired IAS and IPS officers, corporate and industrial sectors, education and information technology.

The Search Committee comprises Justice (Retd.) Permod Kohli, Lieutenant General (Retd.) V.K. Chaturvedi, PVSM, AVSM, SM Veteran, and nuclear scientist Dr. Suresh Hawre. Their combined expertise spans the fields of defence, judiciary and administration.

The committee will now undertake the final evaluation and submit a panel of three names to the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra. The trust will make the final appointment announcement.

The committee said the selection process reflects its emphasis on merit-based selection, institutional excellence and transparency in choosing a leader for an institution of national and international significance.
