Minister Chhagan Bhujbal Secures ₹12.5 Million for Digital Education in Six Zilla Parishad Schools

Nashik: Maharashtra’s Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Chhagan Bhujbal, has secured administrative approval for development works worth ₹12.5 million (₹1.25 crore) under the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) Scheme for six Zilla Parishad schools in the Yeola Assembly constituency.

The approved projects, sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana, aim to strengthen digital education and modern learning infrastructure in rural schools. The beneficiary villages include Nagarsul, Rajapur, Gujar Khede, Lasalgaon, Vinchur, and Khadak Malegaon.

The plan includes the establishment of Smart Classrooms, Artificial Intelligence classrooms, Coding Labs, and Robotics Labs at five schools, with ₹2 million (₹20 lakh) allocated to each institution. Additionally, ₹2.5 million (₹25 lakh) has been sanctioned for a Digital Study Centre for girls at Khadak Malegaon.

Bhujbal said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to providing rural students with access to technology-driven education and improving educational infrastructure. The approved projects are expected to begin shortly, with authorities directed to ensure timely and quality execution, enabling students to gain exposure to AI, robotics, coding, and other advanced learning technologies.
