Dua Lipa is married: Inside her intimate London wedding to Callum Turner and the glamorous Sicily celebration ahead 

Dua Lipa has officially entered her newlywed era. 

Over the weekend, global pop star Dua Lipa stunned fans with the news that she had been married to actor Callum Turner in a private ceremony in London. The couple was expected to marry at their elaborate Italian wedding later this week, but instead tied the knot much earlier and in a more intimate setting. 

According to several sources, Dua and Callum were married in the historic Old Marylebone Town Hall, a location popular amongst celebrities for quiet yet elegant weddings. Rather than host a large, extravagant public wedding, family members and close friends attended the private event, making it feel more personal than extravagant. It’s Dua Lipa, so even her low-key wedding was bolstered by significant fashion elements. 

According to reports, the singer is said to have embodied a vintage vibe when she married her longtime partner in an outfit designed by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli couture. Instead of wearing a traditional bridal gown for the occasion, she opted for an ivory skirt suit that included sharply tailored lines and elegant gold buttons, giving it an hourglass shape. Traditional bridal looks are brought together with modern fashion characteristics that have become synonymous with the performer, creating an ensemble that is balanced in elegance while also showcasing a modern (yet) classy look. 

The look was completed with a pair of pointy-toe Christian Louboutin shoes, white gloves, and a large white hat designed by the well-known designer Stephen Jones. To add a touch of sparkle, she wore a diamond choker by Bvlgari, adding an extra bit of glamour to an outfit that gave off an Old Hollywood aura, yet remained recognizably like Dua. 

The actor was perfectly on point with his classic navy double-breasted suit, which included a blue button-up shirt and tie, keeping the look classy and simple, and allowing the couple’s wonderful chemistry to take centre stage. 

Pictures have been posted all over social media that show the happy couple leaving the town hall together, hand-in-hand, while guests showered them with confetti and flower petals. The wedding seemed to be a very intimate ceremony that was elegant but did not go overboard, demonstrating that the most notable weddings that a celebrity will likely experience will not be ones that attempt to be the most extravagant. 

The romance between Dua Lipa and Callum Scott has developed comparatively quickly but also naturally. They started dating around the beginning of 2024 and became one of the most talked-about couples in the entertainment industry very quickly. The relationship continued to build from public appearances, vacations, and red-carpet moments to speculation about an engagement after Dua was seen wearing a diamond ring at the end of 2024. 

In 2025, she publicly confirmed her engagement and stated that the proposal was especially meaningful to her, since Callum had worked with those closest to her in the design process for the ring. 

Despite being married after their wedding in London, they’re not done celebrating. Reports suggest that they are travelling to Sicily for a multi-day, luxury wedding celebration that will take place in and around Palermo and that it will include their friends and family, as well as many celebrities from the music, fashion, and film industries. Rumoured guests include Elton John, Charli XCX, and Donatella Versace; however, we do not have an official list yet. 

The Sicilian festivities are expected to be dramatically different from the understated London ceremony. Parties at several historic villa locations with vistas of the Mediterranean coast are planned over several weeks. The upcoming celebrations have already been dubbed one of the celebrity weddings of the year.
