Applications are now open for the Viewing Room and Work-in-Progress (WIP) Lab at WAVES Doc Bazaar 2026, a prominent global platform designed for documentary and animation filmmakers to showcase their projects and engage with top industry professionals.

Filmmakers worldwide can submit their entries until May 15, 2026, by 11:59 PM IST.
Eligibility Criteria
The program welcomes documentary and animation projects of all lengths, including short, mid-length, and feature films. Submissions must be either completed or in the post-production stage, with the majority of filming already completed. Projects in development or pre-production stages are not eligible.
Filmmakers looking for festival exposure, distribution deals, sales prospects, or finishing funds are especially encouraged to apply. Projects with little or no international exposure are also invited.
Submission Process
Applicants are required to submit a password-protected screener link of their full film or a rough cut for the initial review. Shortlisted participants must then provide at least 10 minutes of footage for the Viewing Room, though submitting the complete film is highly recommended.
Final materials will be securely uploaded and made accessible only to authorized industry stakeholders.
