Bolla, the founder and CEO of Bollant Industries Private Limited, a company now valued at Rs 150 Crore, was born into a humble family of farmers in Seetharampuram, Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Srikanth faced numerous challenges from an early age. However, his unwavering determination propelled him to pursue his dreams relentlessly.
After overcoming initial obstacles, including a legal battle to pursue science education, Srikanth excelled academically, achieving remarkable success in his studies. Despite facing rejection from coaching institutes and failing to crack the IIT-JEE, he seized an opportunity to study at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA.
Driven by his passion to contribute to India’s development, Srikanth returned to his homeland to establish the Samanvai Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities in 2011. This initiative aimed to empower individuals with disabilities through education, vocational training, and rehabilitation programs.
In 2012, Srikanth founded Bollant Industries, a company dedicated to providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Supported by Ratan Tata, the company specializes in environmentally friendly products, utilizing recycled materials to create a range of sustainable goods.
Through his visionary leadership, Srikanth has not only created economic opportunities for hundreds of individuals with disabilities but has also made a significant impact on environmental sustainability. His company’s scale of turnover and breadth of social impact reflects the success of his innovative business model and commitment to social empowerment.
