OTT watchlist: Undekhi, Glory, Man on Fire

The OTT releases for this week are quite extensive, with platforms rolling out a mix of finales, fresh seasons, and international titles all at once. Whether you’re looking to dive into something intense, revisit familiar characters, or just unwind with an easy watch, there are many options available. From gritty crime dramas to character-driven narratives to true crime intrigue, the lineup spans moods and genres, making the only real challenge deciding what to start with.

Undekhi: The Final Battle (May 1) – SonyLIV

Undekhi: The Final Battle is the long-running crime drama’s final chapter, and it won’t disappoint. This show has consistently showcased the true power of the mighty, both through its portrayal of corruption and justice. The final act of Undehki appears to be well thought out with regard to how it will wrap up the various characters’ stories. But what the audience has learned through watching Undekhi is that sometimes justice does not come cleanly.

Sapne Vs Everyone season 2 (May 1) – Prime Video

Sapne Vs Everyone is another series that has been praised for its raw, relatable storytelling, but it has been relaunched with a sharper focus. Season 2 digs deeper into ambition, failure, and the quiet resilience it takes to keep going. Expect many more personal conflicts, more difficult choices, and more insight into what success actually costs.

My Dearest Señorita (May 1) – Netflix

This one leans into an emotional experience, which allows the viewer to have a more subdued, contemplative viewing experience. The plot is based on the many relationships and personal journeys that unfold slowly, with greater emphasis on human connection than drama.

Glory (May 1) – Netflix

Glory delivers high-stakes, intense drama that is driven by suspenseful circumstances and layered characters. It’s the sort of series that pulls you in quickly, due to its intrigue and emotional depth, and then maintains that level of investment throughout all of the episodes.

Man on Fire (April 30) – Netflix

Man on Fire is an intense action film that provides the viewer with both excitement and emotion. The film does not just have revenge or violence as its theme, but also contains a universal theme of protection, loss, and the extent to which one is willing to go to redeem oneself.

Batchmates (April 30) – JioHotstar

Batchmates is an excellent choice for a lighter watch that allows you to connect with your nostalgic past and friendships. It revisits the bonds that shape us, mixing humour with moments of reflection, making it a fun and comforting binge watch.

The House of the Spirits (April 29) – Prime Video

A richly layered adaptation, The House of the Spirits is a sweeping, dramatic story about family, history, and emotional connections. If you are looking for long-form storytelling that slowly builds its world and characters, then you will want to check this one out!

Should I Marry A Murderer? (April 29) – Netflix

True crime continues to fascinate, and this title leans right into that curiosity. By fusing the drama of an actual crime with the ways in which people deceive each other over time, it asks the question “How well do we know the person we are closest to?”

Straight to Hell (April 27) – Netflix

Straight to Hell is a dark and gritty film that focuses on mood as much as it does narrative. It’s the kind of watch that doesn’t rush, instead drawing viewers into a gritty, unsettling world.

Lawrence of Punjab (April 27) – ZEE5

This one is rooted in regional storytelling, offering a narrative that feels grounded and distinct. Using local landscape and cultural context for the characters, it is nicely balanced between character-driven drama, the unique cultural setting of the story, and the site-specific nature of the characters.
