Celebrating Excellence: KelpHR PoSH Awards Crown Uber India, DBS Tech, Tata Consulting Engineers Among India’s Top 25 Safest Workplace

The event, held on 7th December at MCA Recreation Centre, BKC, Mumbai, showcased exemplary efforts by organisations across various sectors, showcasing their dedication to promoting workplace safety and inclusivity.

As companies increasingly prioritise creating safe workplaces nationwide by embracing best practices in preventing sexual harassment (PoSH), KelpHR has attracted registrations from a diverse range of entities such as startups, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), limited liability partnerships, and large conglomerates. The evaluation of these organisations included assessments of their PoSH compliance, commitment to promoting workplace safety, and other comprehensive indicators reflecting their organisational culture.

The winners of the 2023 KelpHR PoSH Awards include industry giants such as Uber India, DBS Technology Solutions India, Tata Consulting Engineers Limited, Swiss Re, Indigo Airlines, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited, and many other outstanding organisations spanning automotive, aviation, consulting, IT, ITES, Pharma, manufacturing, financial services, and social services.  These companies demonstrated a strong commitment to workplace safety and demonstrated a commitment to upholding the highest standards of PoSH compliance. The awards celebrate their outstanding achievements and encourage others to follow suit.

The event was MC’d by  Nishtha Nishant, a proud member of the transgender community, symbolising KelpHR’s dedication to inclusivity. Furthermore, The KelpHR PoSH Awards® 2023 featured distinguished keynote speakers, such as Chief Guest, Dr Pradnya Saravade (IPS)––the Director General of Police, Railways, Maharashtra State, and Sridhar Rangayan––the Director of the Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival. The event saw the participation of essential stakeholders, including HR heads/CXOs from the 50 nominated companies, jury members, well-wishers, and the KelpHR team and board members.

The fourth edition featured a distinguished panel of judges, including Dr. Ddharaniikota Ssuyodhan–– an international commercial and corporate lawyer; Zainab Patel––Chief Inclusion & Diversity at Pernod Ricard India; Alok Prasanna Kumar––Co-Founder and Lead at VIDHI Centre for Legal Policy; Vaishali Shintre-Bhagwat––Practising Lawyer & Chevening Scholar; CJ Joveson––Advocate at Bombay High Court; Madhura Dasgupta Sinha––Founder & CEO of Aspire for Her; and Tina Vinod––Founder & Chief Consultant at Diversity Simplified. These panellists were crucial in maintaining transparency and credibility in the judging process. Their diverse expertise played a key role in the meticulous selection of winners, underscoring KelpHR’s dedication to upholding high standards in acknowledging workplace excellence.
