Salman Khan Returns to Playback Singing After 11 Years With “Teri Sexy Beauty”
The new song from Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace pairs him with Chitrangda Singh in a lighter, dance-led number.
Salman Khan has sung again for the first time in 11 years. The actor lends his voice to “Teri Sexy Beauty”, a new song from his upcoming film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, released on November 4, 2026.
His last playback credit was “Main Hoon Hero Tera” from Hero (2015), according to the report. Before that, he sang tracks such as “Hangover” from Kick.
The song
The track mixes romance, humour and playful choreography, and features Salman and Chitrangda Singh in a lively dance setting. It plays on an aeroplane-themed hook, and Salman announced it on social media with a playful caption.
Vocals are by Salman Khan and Muskaan, with additional vocals by Sajid Khan. Sajid also composed the music and wrote the lyrics, and Caesar Gonsalves choreographed the song.
The film
“Teri Sexy Beauty” follows the patriotic track “Jai Hind”, which Salman released on October 20, Dussehra. Maatrubhumi, earlier titled Battle of Galwan, is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Salma Khan under Salman Khan Films, with Salman and Chitrangda in the lead roles.
The film is inspired by the 2020 India-China confrontation in the Galwan Valley. Salman plays an Army officer and Chitrangda his wife, and the story is expected to look at soldiers’ experiences and the impact of service on their families.
Release still awaited
Despite the music releases, no theatrical release date has been officially announced. The film was initially expected earlier in 2026 and is awaiting completion of the remaining processes, including Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) certification. The new song gives the makers a lighter side of the film’s music to balance its military theme.
