Lenovo ropes in Priya Tikare as Director and Head of HR

Lenovo India has recently announced the appointment of Priya Tikare as the Director and Head of HR. In her new role, Priya will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions for the Indian business, serving as both the Head of HR and Site HR Leader. Her main focus will be on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, further establishing India as a global technology hub. With over 20 years of experience in people management, Priya is a seasoned professional who has excelled in various leadership positions within the organization. Prior to this appointment, she served as the Global HR Director for Lenovo’s International Services Support and as the Asia Pacific Talent Acquisition Leader.

Tata International appoints Rajeev Singhal as Managing Director

Tata International, the trading and distribution division of the Tata Group on a global scale, has designated Rajeev Singhal as its Managing Director, starting from April 1st. He has taken over the position from Anand Sen, who retired on March 31st. Prior to becoming the Managing Director, Singhal held the role of Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Tata International. With an extensive background of more than 36 years in the industry, Singhal has successfully made the transition from Tata Steel to his new leadership role.

Noel N. Tata, Chairman, Tata International said, “I am pleased to welcome Rajeev Singhal as the Managing Director. We are confident that under his leadership, Tata International will scale to greater heights into its next phase of growth.”

Axis Capital, a prominent investment bank, made an announcement on Monday regarding the appointment of Atul Mehra as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (designate). However, this appointment is still subject to the necessary approvals. In this new role, Mehra will be responsible for overseeing both the Investment Banking and Institutional Equities divisions of Axis Capital. This information comes from an official statement released by the bank.

Salil Pitale, who currently serves as the Managing Director and Co-CEO, has decided to move on from his position at Axis Capital. This decision was also mentioned in the statement.

Atul Mehra brings with him an impressive 32 years of experience working with esteemed Indian corporations in both the domestic and international markets. Prior to joining Axis Capital, he held the position of Joint Managing Director at JM Finance.
