Abu Dhabi Unveils Worlds First Esport Island for Gaming Supremacy

Abu Dhabi is gearing up to rival Saudi Arabia’s sports city with the announcement of the world’s first Esports Island. Priced at $280 million, this groundbreaking project is poised to redefine the gaming landscape. From a top-tier training facility to a vibrant business hub and even a BootCamp with a frat-house vibe, the island promises a unique gaming experience.

With a staggering 60 percent of the Middle East population identifying as gamers, the timing couldn’t be better. True Gamers, a leading lounge network, is also throwing its hat into the ring, aiming to claim the title of ‘world first.’ Nestled near the bustling Al Seef area, Abu Dhabi’s Esports project aims to cater to every gamer’s whim, from intense training sessions to thrilling tournaments at the TG Arena.

The GG Bootcamp offers cutting-edge gaming equipment, along with dedicated areas for rest and nutrition programs to enhance performance. Forget the stereotype of gamers surviving on energy drinks and snacks, it’s all about maximizing potential.

The Esports arena itself is a haven for gamers, boasting everything from car simulators to dedicated streaming areas. And for those who like to mix work with play, each room at the GG Resort comes equipped with built-in gaming computers.

Anton Vasilenko, CEO of True Gamers, stresses the meticulous planning behind the project, supported by thorough market analysis. “This isn’t just about creating a gaming hub; it’s about shaping the future of Esports.”

Meanwhile, across the border, Saudi Arabia is making waves with its ambitious Esport district in Qiddiya City. With plans for state-of-the-art facilities, including an F1 track and numerous theme parks, it’s poised to rival even the Vatican City in size. The competition is fierce to see who will emerge as the ultimate gaming destination, with hopes high for attracting millions of visitors annually.
