Air India debuts Manish Malhotra-designed uniform for cabin and cockpit crew

Air India Limited revealed its new attire for cabin crew and pilots, envisioned by Manish Malhotra.

The female cabin crew uniform features ready-to-wear ombre pant sarees or saree pantsuit with intricate jharokha patterns and the Vista (new Air India logo icon), paired with a blouse and blazer. Meanwhile male crew members will sport bandhgalas. The cockpit crew’s uniform, on the other hand, features a classic black double-breasted suit with a print inspired by the Vista.

These updated uniforms will be introduced gradually over the coming months, commencing with the launch of Air India’s initial Airbus A350 service. Manish Malhotra has also designed uniforms for Air India’s ground staff, engineers, and security personnel. They are yet to be unveiled.
