The aircraft was being flown by Wing Commander Bokil and his second-in-command, Biswas, when the incident occurred.
Remarkably, both pilots managed to eject safely from the aircraft, sustaining only minor injuries. They were promptly taken to the HAL hospital for medical attention, a testament to the robust safety protocols in place for IAF pilots.
