Prince Pipes Names Rajat Mishra Chief Business Officer
The former Astral Adhesives CBO takes charge of retail, projects, marketing and branding, and exports as the company’s marketing chief prepares to retire.
Prince Pipes and Fittings Ltd has appointed Rajat Mishra as Chief Business Officer (CBO). Mishra has more than two decades of commercial leadership experience across building materials, adhesives, FMCG and telecommunications. He took charge in November 2026.
In the role, he will lead the Retail, Projects, Marketing and Branding, and Exports verticals, with responsibility for business strategy, growth and overall performance.
From Astral Adhesives
Mishra joins from Astral Adhesives, where he was Chief Business Officer for more than three years, working on business operations and commercial strategy.
His earlier employers include Ashirvad Pipes, Pidilite Industries, Mondelēz International and Vodafone. Across these roles he has built expertise in business expansion, go-to-market strategies, distribution network development and commercial leadership. That mix of consumer businesses, building materials and distribution-led markets suits the breadth of his new mandate.
A leadership transition
The appointment comes with a senior management change. Prince Pipes has also announced the retirement of Ashok Mehra, President and Chief Marketing Officer, effective November 16, 2026. Mehra will work with Mishra through the transition to hand over responsibilities smoothly. The company’s filing with the BSE covers the management change, and a board update links it to the company’s Q2 results.
The leadership changes come as Prince Pipes continues to focus on strengthening its market presence and operations across its key segments.
