India Advises Citizens in Israel to Move to Safe Areas Amid Ongoing Conflict

India has issued an advisory to its citizens residing in Israel, urging them to relocate to safer areas in light of the current conflict situation. The advisory, released by the Indian Embassy in Israel, particularly emphasizes the need for those living or working in border areas in the north and south to move to safer locations within the country.

The Embassy stated that it is in close contact with Israeli authorities to ensure the safety and security of all Indian nationals in Israel. Additionally, an emergency helpline number, +97235226748, has been provided for assistance. Indian nationals in Israel can also contact the Population and Immigration Authority of Israel at Tel 1700707889 for support.

Furthermore, the Embassy has urged Indian citizens stranded in Israel to disseminate this advisory through local networks for wider circulation. This advisory follows an incident on Monday where an Indian national from Kerala was killed and two others were injured in an attack by Hezbollah militants near Israel’s northern border community of Margaliot.
