While benchmarks aren’t available yet, Apple’s silicon has for long been the industry standard, effortlessly handling intensive tasks and multi-tasking. The Neural Engine, now with 16 cores, is poised to power new on-device AI experiences and generative models.
Battery life is a crucial focus. By eliminating the physical SIM card tray, Apple was able to fit a larger battery inside, boasting up to 39 hours of video playback. This makes the iPhone 17 Pro not only the most powerful, but potentially the most enduring iPhone yet.
The camera plateau isn’t just for show either. It significantly reduces the wobble that plagued earlier models, a small but notable quality-of-life improvement.
