WPL 2025 is Here! Here’s Evrything You Need to Know

The much-anticipated third edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 is set to begin on February 14, with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) facing Gujarat Giants (GG) in the opening match at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara. The tournament will follow the same format as previous seasons, with five teams competing in a double round-robin stage before moving into the knockout phase. The final is scheduled for March 15 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.

Tournament Format

Four teams will qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams will play Qualifier 1, with the winner directly advancing to the final. The 3rd and 4th placed teams will compete in the Eliminator, and the winner will face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2. The two winners from the qualifiers will then clash for the championship title.
