PM Modi Files Nomination from Varanasi, Accompanied by CM Yogi Adityanath

Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination for the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh today, accompanied by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Before submitting the papers, PM Modi, aiming for a third consecutive victory in Varanasi, offered prayers and performed aarti at Dashwamedh Ghat. He then embarked on a cruise ride to the Namo Ghat and visited the Kaal Bhairav temple to offer his prayers.

Senior BJP leaders, including Union Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda, were present at the collectorate for the nomination filing, along with members of the BJP’s NDA.

Varanasi is scheduled to go to polls in the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections on June 1. Several leaders from different states showed their support for Narendra Modi, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, NCP leader Praful Patel, and others from the NDA.
