Harshvardhan Nawathe has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JSW Foundation, where he will shape the organization’s strategic vision and lead its diverse social initiatives across India. Working closely with the Chairperson and Board of Directors, Harshvardhan’s leadership will play a pivotal role in driving the Foundation’s growth and ensuring the success of its impactful community programs. His extensive experience and innovative approach will enable the Foundation to continue empowering communities and creating sustainable change.
With over 20 years of experience in the social sector, Harshvardhan has spearheaded large-scale projects in renewable energy, education, child rights, gender equality, and skill development. Previously serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO), he oversaw operations across multiple locations and implemented a variety of community-based initiatives. His deep expertise in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability, along with leadership roles at organizations such as NatWest Group and Welspun Group, equips him to guide JSW Foundation in advancing its mission of community empowerment and sustainable development.
