Most AI examples that you hear about today – from chess-playing computers to self-driving cars – rely heavily on deep learning and machine learning. In this new age of technology, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning have been leading the way as technologies rife with opportunity. Entrepreneur Junaid Shaikh, during his second year of college, got into Computer Science and started learning programming.
In 2018, Dr. Junaid Shaik and Faisal Sheikh launched Livo.ai. Through its AI-powered robotic microscope, Livo A700, the Hyderabad-based startup automatically identifies and classifies the blood cells and produces high-quality images to help pathologists with the morphology (structure) analysis, and helps patients get early access to their reports.
This also helps pathology doctors as they can now make more insightful diagnoses using the AI-generated report and high-quality cell photos as proof. The device also eliminates the need for the doctor to manually check the structure and do the differential count using the microscope
Next year, Livo.ai plans to expand its activities in Europe. By 2023, it hopes to have over 10,000 customers.
