PM Modi's Aircraft faces technical issues, delaying his return to Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft encountered a technical issue at Deoghar Airport in Jharkhand, causing an unexpected delay in his return to Delhi. The aircraft, which was set to fly the Prime Minister back to the national capital, was grounded temporarily to address the snag, officials confirmed on Friday.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi travelled to Jamui, Bihar, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the revered tribal leader Birsa Munda. During his visit, he participated in a high-profile event, highlighting the BJP-led government’s commitment to tribal welfare. Modi inaugurated projects valued at Rs 6,640 crore, emphasizing the government’s focus on empowering tribal communities and enhancing infrastructure.

In his address, the Prime Minister noted the historical neglect of tribal communities under previous administrations, which he claimed had minimized their contributions to India’s freedom struggle. He credited the BJP-led government with taking proactive steps to uplift these communities, including establishing a dedicated welfare department for tribals and increasing budget allocations. Modi also pointed to the election of Droupadi Murmu as India’s first tribal President as a milestone in recognizing the importance of tribal representation.

After concluding his engagements, PM Modi was scheduled to return to Delhi; however, the technical snag at Deoghar airport delayed his departure.
