Sushma Rajesh has joined Viacom18 Media Private Limited as Cluster Head – Kannada and Marathi. Most recently, Rajesh was associated with The Walt Disney Company for nearly 2 years and 3 months as Senior Vice President and Business Head – Kannada.
Sushma announced her appointment via her LinkedIn handle. In her post, she said, “I am excited to share that I have embarked on a new chapter in my professional life as the Cluster Head for Kannada and Marathi at Viacom18 Media Private Limited.
She joined Star India in 2004 as Senior Manager (Research & Strategic Planning) and rose through the ranks to become Vice President of Marketing & Channel Strategy, Life OK, in 2014. Later, she served as the Business Head of Star Utsav.
She started her career with IMRB, a part of the Kantar Group. Prior to this, Sushma led the Kannada cluster at Disney Star, where she handled multiple functions over a period of two decades.
