According to sources, B. Ramanathan is set to rejoin Ogilvy India as Chief Client Officer. With nearly thirty years of industry experience, Ramanathan brings extensive knowledge and a deep understanding of the advertising business.
Based on his LinkedIn profile, Ramanathan commenced his journey with Ogilvy in 2000. Over the course of eight years, he played crucial roles in the Chennai and Hyderabad offices, eventually becoming the Managing Partner of the Mumbai office in 2009.
His continued involvement has been instrumental in shaping the agency’s growth story. In his role now as the Chief Client Officer, Ram will take charge of strategic client relationships, leading brand partnerships. He will also be driving business expansion.
Ramanathan started his career in the ad industry back in 1995 at BBDO Chennai as an Account Supervisor till 1998. After that, he moved to Rediffusion DY&R till 2000.
