JioBlackRock’s push into digital broking
JioBlackRock Broking is part of the financial services ecosystem built through the partnership between Jio Financial Services and global asset manager BlackRock. The venture aims to combine Jio’s digital reach and technology capabilities with BlackRock’s global investment expertise to widen access to financial products in India.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) approved JioBlackRock Broking in June 2025 to operate as a stockbroker and clearing member. The appointment comes as the venture works on its digital brokerage platform and a bigger presence in India’s growing retail investment market. With Dhoka leading, the company says it wants to make market participation easier and strengthen its position in digital financial services.
