Naresh Kumar joins Brickwork India Group as Group Head - HR

Brickwork India Group has brought veteran HR leader Naresh Kumar onboard as its new Group Head-HR, signaling a strategic commitment to transforming its workplace culture and optimizing performance within its hybrid operating model.

This critical appointment leverages Kumar’s proven expertise in linking people strategy directly to business outcomes, ensuring the firm is equipped with the talent, engagement, and development frameworks required for continued accelerated growth in the global services sector.

Naresh Kumar moves to the Bengaluru-based company after a distinguished career spanning over two decades across fast-paced global organizations. Most recently serving as Senior Manager-HRBP at Dayforce, he successfully led human resources operations for a massive workforce of over 1,400 employees dispersed across India, the United States, and Europe. This complex, multi-geography experience provided him with a deep understanding of scaling talent strategies across diverse markets, a skill set paramount for Brickwork India’s global ambitions.

Prior to his time at Dayforce, Kumar held influential roles at global consulting and IT leaders, including Capgemini and Infosys BPM. His career has consistently focused on end-to-end HR transformation, working closely with executive committees to translate business goals into actionable people agendas. This includes leading multiple organizational HR overhauls, managing talent acquisition at scale for high-growth business units, and building high-performing teams from the ground up.

Further demonstrating his entrepreneurial and strategic versatility, Kumar successfully built and scaled a funded tech startup, Kadbits, from scratch, giving him unique insight into the agile needs of high-potential ventures.

In his new role at Brickwork India, Kumar will spearhead a comprehensive HR transformation initiative designed to solidify the company’s hybrid work model. His key focus areas will include culture-building that emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, as well as developing robust leadership programs and succession planning frameworks.

This strategic mandate ensures that human capital is deployed not merely for operational support but as a central competitive differentiator, reinforcing Brickwork India’s ability to attract, retain, and develop world-class talent to fuel its next wave of business expansion. His appointment confirms the group’s belief in a people-centric approach as the foundation for long-term commercial success.
