Louis Vuitton Appoints Hector Muelas as Chief Brand Creative Officer
LVMH has named Hector Muelas to the newly created position of Chief Brand Creative Officer at Louis Vuitton. He starts on November 1, 2026, and will report to Damien Bertrand, the Maison’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
Muelas will set the direction for Louis Vuitton’s creative narrative across every point of contact with its audience, so that the brand looks and feels consistent wherever clients meet it. His remit covers brand campaigns, creative execution and content production.
He will work with the Maison’s business units, regional teams and creative talents to strengthen its desirability, its cultural relevance and its relationship with clients around the world.
Announcing the appointment, Bertrand said the aim is to give Louis Vuitton a more cohesive and distinctive voice that reflects its creative boldness. He added that Muelas will help deliver this through campaigns and content that deepen the bond with clients.
Muelas brings more than 20 years of international experience in culture, storytelling and brand building. He previously held senior leadership roles at Rimowa and, most recently, at Tiffany & Co., where he served as Global Chief Brand and Creative Officer.
