The GD Goenka Group, a diversified conglomerate focusing on education, skill development, and services, has named Gaurav Himkar as the Group CEO. Himkar, with over 15 years of experience in strategic leadership and profit and loss management, has an extensive background in the Automotive and Consumer Product sectors.
In his most recent position, he spent 11 years with the Hero Motors Group, holding roles such as Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director for Hero’s European e-bike business, HNF Nicolai, according to a press release from the company.
An alumnus of IIM Lucknow and Delhi College of Engineering, Himkar has worked across various geographies including India, Europe, the UK, and East Africa.
