4 Achievable Health Resolutions For 2025

With the New Year now well and truly upon us, one thing is for certain. Many a health resolution has been made in this many, and many more must be broken by the time you read this.

So just how do you go about sticking to that New Year’s resolution of yours to live a more healthy lifestyle? We posed the question to Satyajit Hange, Co-founding farmer of Two Brothers Organic Farms. Here are his recommendations and health resolutions for the year ahead.

Rotate your ingredients

A healthy diet requires variety. Each grain, oil, or honey has different nutritional properties to offer. And that’s why, a person should keep rotating between different varieties to benefit from multiple nutrients. For example, safflower and sunflower offer high levels of omega 6 and are suitable for summers, while black mustard oil does wonders for the winter season by offering high value of Vitamin E to the body, ensuring the body is warm enough.

Don’t keep unrealistic goals

Most often when people try to switch to a healthy lifestyle, they make extreme decisions- one of them being cutting out sweeteners completely. While refined sugar is high in its dangers, consuming jaggery in moderate levels has its own benefits. Keeping energy levels high and the Glymex index in check, the right sweetness definitely doesn’t cause harm!

Snack, but do it smartly

If done rightly, snacking can help you regulate your blood sugar levels and mostly importantly, help you avoid over-eating in your main meals. The best option for this would always be a toast with a dollop of peanut butter topped with some sliced bananas or strawberries, ensuring it curbs your dessert cravings while offering the right power-packed nutrients!

Embrace seasonal consumption

Each season has different requirements. During winters, one needs to focus on immunity boosting- the time when Amla pickles and Amlaprash come handy with their high dosage of herbs and ghee! Summer on the other hand comes in with the need for coolants- that suffice well with products like Gulkand and thandais!
