The Traitors 2 trailer: Karan Johar promises bigger twists as Shweta Tiwari’s personal revelation steals the spotlight 

The game of trust and deception returns, except that this time, the stakes are greater than before. Prime Video has dropped the trailer for The Traitors Season 2 that gives fans a glimpse of explosive confrontations, altering relationships and mysterious betrayals in the season ahead of its airing date.  

Hosted by Karan Johar, this time the reality series is set to come back with 21 celebrity contestants playing the game of strategy and survival under pressure. The trailer is filled with amazing moments, but there is one particular conversation that raised eyebrows on the internet. During the conversation with Karan Johar about how to catch a liar, the actress Shweta Tiwari refers to her personal life and how she caught her two husbands cheating on her. 

There are already some hints at tension between the contestants in the trailer. Rhea Chakraborty confidently declares her experience with reality show, while Parul Gulati seems to jokingly imply that an actress can cry even without glycerine. At the same time, influencer Rida Tharana can be seen confronting her fellow contestant, and the trailer ends with contestants collapsing from the pressure. 

Going into this season, there is a twist with the new accomplice Boo, who is in charge of delivering the “bad news” and makes everything even more exciting. The action of the latest season takes place in the luxurious Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, which means that the participants will deal with lies and mind games. 

After the great success of the first season, The Traitors Season 2 will be released on August 13 on Prime Video, with new episodes uploaded every Thursday. According to the trailer, the new season is going to be filled with thrilling moments and unexpected betrayals.
