In a major development that’s bound to leave fans stunned, veteran actor Shivaji Satam’s legendary portrayal of ACP Pradyuman in the long-running crime thriller CID will soon come to an end. According to exclusive sources, the beloved character is set to meet a tragic fate in an upcoming episode, marking the end of an era for the Sony TV show.
ACP Pradyuman to Die in Bomb Blast
As per reports, the upcoming storyline features the return of the ruthless antagonist Barbossa, played by Tigmanshu Dhulia. Barbossa, the dreaded leader of the Eye Gang, makes a deadly comeback after six years and plants a bomb intended to eliminate the entire CID team. While most team members escape the blast, ACP Pradyuman is not as fortunate and succumbs to the explosion.
A source close to the production revealed, “The team recently shot the episode, and it will be aired in a few days. The makers are keeping the plot tightly under wraps to maintain the element of surprise for fans.”
No Resurrection Plans Yet – But Never Say Never
CID has previously witnessed dramatic twists, including characters “dying” and later returning. However, sources suggest that as of now, there are no immediate plans to bring ACP Pradyuman back. CID, which first premiered in 1998, became a household name in Indian television. The show returned earlier this year for a second season, now airing on Sony TV and streaming on Netflix and Sony LIV.
