KissanGPT, an AI-powered chatbot has been introduced to assist Indian farmers with their agricultural queries. It is multilingual and offers real-time guidance on farming-related advice such as crop cultivation, irrigation, pest management, etc. Farmers can communicate with the chatbot using their smartphones; it is a simple and practical tool for them to employ.
KissanGPT’s creators, led by computer scientist Pratik Desai, hope it can close the knowledge gap between farmers and professionals and give farmers the information and tools they need to boost earnings.
