Ahead of IPL, Ashneer Grover’s Third Unicorn launches cricket fantasy sports app- CrickPe. The launch comes ahead of the marquee Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament that is set to begin next week.
CrickPe allows players above 18 years of age to create a virtual team of cricket players and enter paid contests to earn cash prizes based on their performance in real-life games.
In an effort to boost fan engagement, the app also allows users to compete with real cricketers and their fantasy teams. CrickPe also lets users pay real money to cricketers for their performance on the pitch.
New users can earn INR 50 as a joining bonus upon registration, and they can withdraw their winnings after having won a certain amount.
