Global tech partnership to digitise trade finance

CredAble, a global working capital technology platform, announced a strategic technology partnership with Citi to digitise its trade finance controls and strengthen post-disbursement invoice validation across global markets. The partnership signals a shared commitment to build more intelligent, compliant, and digital trade ecosystems for working capital financing.

At the core of this collaboration is a white-labelled solution powered by CredAble that adds a robust verification layer to Citi’s digital trade loan journey.

The new solution allows corporate clients and their suppliers to experience a seamless, unified digital flow, from invoice submission to verification, with enhanced transparency and speed.

Designed to validate invoices against government-backed digital public infrastructure, the platform helps detect inconsistencies by verifying over 10 critical fields such as invoice numbers, values, dates, and transport data. This strengthens controls, reduces exceptions, and improves audit readiness for clients across regions.

With a single administrative view for corporates, the platform reduces manual follow-ups and improves the quality of financed invoices, leading to faster and more predictable capital flows. The experience is intuitive for both anchor clients and their suppliers, supporting Citi’s goal of delivering technology-led trade solutions that adapt to business workflows without any interruptions.

Speaking on this partnership, Ram Kewalramani, Co-founder and MD of CredAble, said: “This partnership goes beyond product innovation. It reflects our joint vision of making trade finance smarter, more secure, and aligned with the digital expectations of global businesses. We are proud to be Citi’s fintech partner and elevate the standard for invoice verification and supplier financing.”

The partnership formally launched a platform that both firms unveiled to digitise trade finance globally and deliver real-time assurance to corporate supply chains.

Mayank Gupta, Head of Asia South and Indian subcontinent, Trade and Working Capital Solutions, commented:
“As supply chains become more global and complex, digitisation is essential to deliver control and confidence at scale. Our collaboration with CredAble supports our vision of modernising trade with technology that is secure, user-centric, and built for widespread adoption.”

The platform is designed to meet Citi’s rigorous standards, engineered to adapt seamlessly to evolving regulatory and client needs while ensuring a consistent and highly trustworthy user experience.

This global tech partnership marks an important step toward advancing trade finance infrastructure and strengthening invoice-level transparency for enterprises worldwide.
