Adani Group forges strategic partnership with Autodesk to pioneer digital infrastructure

The Adani Group has announced a significant three-year strategic partnership with Autodesk, marking a major leap in its commitment to digital transformation and sustainable infrastructure development. The collaboration will see the Adani Group implement the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform and leverage Autodesk’s expertise to deliver Building Information Modeling (BIM) advisory services across its vast portfolio of businesses.

This agreement reinforces the Adani Group’s long-term vision of building a digitally integrated, sustainable, and future-ready infrastructure ecosystem, not only across India but also in its global operations. By adopting Autodesk’s comprehensive design and construction solutions, the Adani Group aims to integrate project data, thereby creating a unified, single source of truth across its diverse projects. This foundational digital integration is designed to facilitate seamless collaboration across various teams and disciplines, drastically improving operational efficiency and project visibility from design through construction.

Driving Efficiency and Innovation

The move toward harnessing digital platforms like the ACC is strategic, as the Adani Group seeks to improve efficiency, transparency, and predictability across its extensive infrastructure portfolio. Beyond mere deployment, the partnership is focused on driving cutting-edge innovation in critical areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and sustainability-focused project delivery. The integration of BIM capabilities across the entire ecosystem is central to this effort, enabling better planning, risk mitigation, and resource management.

The scope of the collaboration extends beyond core technology implementation. It encompasses extensive initiatives like process standardization, strengthening BIM capabilities across the entire Adani ecosystem, targeted partner enablement programs, and specialized leadership development workshops. Crucially, the partnership includes comprehensive upskilling programs across Adani Group organizations, ensuring that its workforce is future-ready and equipped to leverage these advanced digital tools.

Leadership Endorsement

The leadership from both organizations emphasized the transformative potential of this strategic move.

KS Rao, CEO, Adani Infra India, highlighted the necessity of unified data management for large-scale projects, stating, “Seamless collaboration and connected data are critical to executing complex infrastructure projects at scale. By partnering with Autodesk, we are harnessing world-class technology to unify teams, enhance project visibility, and accelerate decision-making across our diverse business units. This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver sustainable, high-quality infrastructure efficiently, setting a new benchmark for design led innovation across the Adani ecosystem”.

The sentiment was reciprocated by Kamolika Gupta Peres, VP, India & SAARC, Autodesk, who connected the partnership to the nation’s broader developmental goals. “The Viksit Bharat 2047 vision is about designing and making a better future for India and that’s exactly what this partnership with Adani group represents. Together, we’re leveraging Autodesk’s Design and Make Platform to power a digital ecosystem that drives smarter, more sustainable growth—setting new benchmarks for how India designs and builds to serve the needs of today and the future”. This collaborative effort underscores a shared commitment to digital excellence and sustainable development as the backbone of India’s future infrastructure.
