Computerized equipment for Quality Assurance and Testing Laboratories tests cables very stringently under all the parameters as per the requirements of relevant quality standards or the client’s specified requirements. Quality checks also include Raw Material and In Process Inspections, Sample, Routine, Type, Acceptance, and other Special Tests, at every stage.
The plants are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities as technology plays a pivotal role in the manufacturing process. Paramount Cables was the first company to introduce “Fire Survival” Cables in India, cables that can maintain circuit integrity amidst an active fire up to two hours thus setting the highest standard in fire safety norms. Paramount holds the very prestigious LPCB approval for Fire Survival range of cables.
Paramount Cables was the first company in India to introduce lead free wires in the domestic market especially keeping mind the health of consumers and electricians. This helped position the company as a customer centric brand.
They also manufacture cables as per the UL certifications, British Standard Specification (BSS), American Standard for Testing Methods (ASTM), International Electro Technical Committee Specifications (IEC), Vereingte Deutsche Elktrotechniker (VDE),Deutsches Institut fὕr Normunge.V. (DIN), International Electrotechnical Committee Specifications (IEC), Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS).
As a part of Make in India initiative launched by Prime Minister in September 2014 as part of a wider set of nation-building initiatives devised to transform India into a global design and manufacturing hub, Paramount has built a strong export base. Paramount has executed orders for reputed international corporations and agencies in various countries such as USA, UK, Spain, Russia, South Africa, UAE, Jordan, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Chile, Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Nigeria. They have, for instance, executed orders for large projects for Oil and Power companies in Iraq and Oman. They are one of the largest cable suppliers into the USA market from India. In FY23, approximately 50% of the company’s revenue came from exports. Paramount holds a wide range of UL approvals and has thus positioned itself very strongly in the North American electrical market.
For Indian Distribution, Company prioritizes building strong relationship with channel distribution partners & is focusing on effective communication & setting up a Digital infrastructure to facilitate their distribution channel.
They are currently selling retail in north India, with a distribution segment of more than 100 channel partners.
