Raymond Limited, India’s leading textile and apparel conglomerate, has announced strategic leadership changes to accelerate growth across its business portfolios. The restructuring aligns with the company’s ambitious growth plans for the new fiscal year and creates enhanced leadership bandwidth across key business verticals.
In a significant move, Vipul Mathur, Chief Business Officer – New Businesses, will now lead both the Ethnix SBU and Raymond Home divisions. This consolidation brings together two high-potential growth segments under unified leadership, positioning Raymond to capitalize on emerging market opportunities in the home textiles and ethnic wear segments. The leadership team of Home and Ethnix will now report to him.
The reorganization also includes the consolidation of retail-led businesses, including Apparel, Made-to-Measure (MTM), and Retail Business Units under one leadership structure. Additionally, the MBO-focused distribution businesses, including Innerwear & Sleepwear, along with incubation businesses, have been grouped to optimize operational synergies.
As part of these changes, Debdeep Sinha transitions to the role of Chief Business Officer – Innerwear & Sleepwear, bringing his expertise in building new businesses to this growing segment. The company also welcomes Neeraj Nagpal as Chief Business Officer – Apparel, MTM, and TRS, bringing over 27 years of fashion and retail expertise to Raymond.
This strategic realignment reflects Raymond’s commitment to strengthening its market leadership and driving innovation across its diverse portfolio. The new structure is designed to enhance focus on key growth areas while ensuring efficient resource allocation and improved market responsiveness.
