Lakshadweep Island to receive Rs 36000 Cr infrastructure upgrade with more ports and roads

The Indian government has outlined an INR 3,600 crore blueprint for upgrading the infrastructure of the Lakshadweep islands, aiming to elevate them into a premier tourist destination, according to a government official cited by The Economic Times.
