Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has welcomed three new independent directors. In a disclosure to the BSE, the company announced the appointment of Venkata Ramana Murthy Pinisetti, Shishir Babubhai Desai, and Uttam Prakash Agarwal as Additional Directors for a three-year term.
Murthy, a lawyer, bestselling author, and expert in HR and organization development (OD) domains, leads the Employment and Labor Law practice at Economic Laws Practice (ELP). With a corporate career spanning over three decades, he retired as the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources (CHRO) from the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL).
Agarwal, a Chartered Accountant with more than thirty years of experience in taxation, finance, and restructuring, has extensive expertise in statutory audits and income leakage audits for public sector banks appointed by the RBI. Additionally, he has conducted statutory audits for public sector undertakings and Mutual Funds under the Comptroller Auditor General of India.
Desai, a Solicitor with 44 years of experience and registered with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society, holds memberships with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and was a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales (Non-Practicing).
