Vedanta Resources announced the appointment of Sukanti Ghosh as the President of Global Policy and Communications, Chairman’s Office, effective December 4th, 2023.
In his new role, Sukanti Ghosh will spearhead strategic communications and public policy initiatives for the Chairman’s office, aligning with the group’s ambition to evolve into a $100 billion global conglomerate. Based in Vedanta’s London office, Ghosh brings over 33 years of extensive experience in global policy, business consulting, advocacy, and strategic communications across the United States, India, South Asia, and the Middle East.
His previous roles include Senior Vice President and South Asia Practice Lead at the Albright Stonebridge Group in the United States and Managing Director of APCO Worldwide’s India operations. Earlier in his career, Ghosh held senior corporate affairs positions at Barclays Bank in India and BankMuscat in the Middle East.
Sukanti Ghosh holds two Masters degrees, one from Jadavpur University in India and another from the University of Lugano in Switzerland.
