How do you prioritize the well-being and work-life balance of your employees while ensuring high performance and productivity?

I personally believe highly engaged employees are always motivated to perform their jobs with a lot of passion and commitment.

There are various factors that help us drive employee engagement but at the top of my list are:

1) Ensuring your employees are offered an environment where they can create a healthy balance between their work and personal life.

2) Looking at employee well-being as a Holistic concept that encompasses physical, emotional, and mental health.

As an organization we can provide various options to our employees that can include flexible working policy, various initiatives like Yoga Sessions, Music Sessions, Lucrative Vacation plan, etc. but all this may fail to work if the Leadership team fails to lead by example.

All your Policies may still not get the engagement level high if the leadership team does not empower the employees to Leverage these policies without any fear and that can only be achieved when leaders too “Walk the Talk”.

Once you are able to build this trust with your employees, they would truly start benefiting from all the policies that are being designed to focus on their well-being truly making   them Happy and bringing them close to the organization business goals!

Also, last but not the least the new-age HR Functions must also recognize that it cannot be one-size fits all approach when it comes to employee well-being and creating work life balance plus also to ensure that employees do not hesitate in asking for support it is important to embed holistic well-being into your organization culture and every leader must show that they truly care about their own and the team’s well-being.
