She emphasized that while generation is high, formal recycling rates remain low, with a large portion still leaking into informal channels, creating a major gap in responsible waste management. She also pointed to the growing role of regulations, EPR compliance, and government frameworks in driving accountability, while stressing the need for enterprises to adopt circular economy practices and manage end-of-life assets more responsibly.
