Vikrant Massey turns producer with Musafir Cafe 

Vikrant Massey is growing as an artist with Musafir Cafe, which he will both star in and produce. Musafir Cafe tells the story of a journey through love, fate, and self-discovery and will be available to watch on July 24. 

The story follows three people whose lives are connected by the circumstances of meeting one another. At the centre of the story is Chander (played by Massey), who must choose between a passionate new romance and a secure and trustworthy relationship based on both love and friendship. The series examines how people enter and leave our lives, how we are impacted by them while they are here, and how we are affected once they are gone. 

Massey will be producing this show for the first time in addition to acting. During prior discussions about producing the show, Massey stated that the script resonated with him right away and convinced him that he could handle taking on the added responsibility of being the producer. Massey has received encouragement from his mentors and collaborators to pursue this project and believes it is an important step in his career as a professional artist. 

The cast of the show also features Vedika Pinto and Mahima Makwana, along with Vikrant Massey, Adil Hussain, Anubha Fatehpuria, and Sadiya Siddiqui supporting them in various roles. Musafir Cafe is directed by Ruchir Arun and is backed by Vijay Subramaniam, Anuj Gosalia, Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT) and Homemade Stories.  

The series takes place in beautiful locations and will evoke a strong sense of intimacy when telling the stories within. Themes that run throughout the entire series are those based on the idea of relationships developing, growth as individuals, and making choices that will affect one’s future long after they have made them. 

With Musafir Cafe, Vikrant Massey has once again taken on an additional role as a producer since he will already be known to audiences for his acting work in this and several other television series as well as films.  As viewers eagerly await its premiere date of July 24 on Netflix, the bar has been raised in terms of what people expect from a romantic drama featuring great performances, along with a relatable and emotionally moving storyline for viewers to enjoy.
