ICICI Securities has announced the promotion of its Joint Managing Director, T K Srirang, to the role of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective November 28. This appointment is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, and Srirang will serve in this capacity until his retirement on May 31, 2029.
The company also announced that Vijay Chandok, the current MD & CEO, will step down on November 27 to pursue other career opportunities outside of the ICICI Group.
Srirang has held the position of Joint Managing Director at ICICI Securities since May 1, 2024. Prior to this role, he served as Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Head of the Human Resources and Infrastructure Management Services Group at ICICI Bank, where he also led HR functions for the broader ICICI group.
Having joined ICICI Bank in 2001, Srirang has been pivotal in establishing and expanding the Bank’s Retail, SME, Wholesale, International Banking, and Digital franchises, contributing significantly to its growth strategy. Over his 23 years with the group, he has served as a trusted advisor to the Executive Board across various ICICI companies.
