MiPhi Semiconductors appoints Nupur Shrivastava as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

MiPhi Semiconductors has appointed Nupur Shrivastava as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening its leadership team as the company expands its operations and builds capabilities across India’s memory, storage and AI infrastructure ecosystem.

A joint venture between Micromax Informatics and Phison Electronics, MiPhi is focused on developing next-generation semiconductor memory technologies in India. The company is working across storage solutions for enterprise, consumer, embedded, AI and security applications, with a broader focus on strengthening India’s semiconductor and IC design capabilities.

Nupur Shrivastava brings over two decades of technology HR experience

Shrivastava joins MiPhi with more than 20 years of experience in human resources and organisational leadership, having held senior roles at global technology companies including Intel, Arm, Nokia and Honeywell. Her experience spans organisational design, leadership development, succession planning, talent strategy, large-scale transformation and M&A integration.

Prior to joining MiPhi, Shrivastava served as Head of People and HR Senior Director for Intel India and APAC, where she led people strategy across more than 10 countries. Her remit covered functions including engineering, product, foundry, sales and corporate operations.

Focus on talent, culture and leadership

At MiPhi, Shrivastava will lead the company’s people and organisational strategy as it enters its next phase of growth. Her responsibilities will include strengthening leadership capabilities, developing talent, shaping organisational culture and creating the people infrastructure required to support business expansion.

Welcoming the appointment, Rahul Sharma, Co-founder, MiPhi Semiconductors, said that building the right people and culture is as important to the company’s long-term ambition as developing the right technology and products. He added that Shrivastava’s experience with leading global technology organisations would support MiPhi in attracting talent, developing leaders and building an organisation capable of scaling.

The appointment comes as MiPhi continues to build its presence in India’s semiconductor ecosystem. The company says it is leveraging Phison’s technology expertise and Micromax’s manufacturing capabilities and customer reach to develop and manufacture storage products in India.

Shrivastava’s appointment therefore adds a senior technology HR leader to MiPhi’s leadership team at a stage where talent, organisational capability and leadership development will be central to supporting the company’s expansion.
