Partnership embeds TransFollow’s electronic consignment notes into Qargo’s transport management system, reducing friction for European shippers and carriers
Leading logistics technology specialist, TransFollow, and transport management software (TMS) provider, Qargo, have today announced a partnership integrating TransFollow’s electronic consignment note (eCMR) solution into Qargo’s TMS.
This integration allows shippers and transport operators to create, issue, and sign eCMRs within a single platform, removing manual document handovers and the need to switch between systems.
“Seamless integration with any workflow or tech stack our customers rely on is fundamental to TransFollow’s vision,” said Alexis Périnet-Marquet, Managing Director, TransFollow.
“Our partnership with Qargo marks another important step in making supply chain digitalisation simpler, more flexible, and future‑proof in the face of upcoming regulations.
“We are delighted to collaborate closely with such a strong and forward‑thinking partner as Qargo.”
The partnership reflects TransFollow’s focus on interoperability and its mission to connect supply chain participants regardless of the systems they use.
“We wanted to remove the friction our customers were experiencing with manual document handovers and constantly switching between systems,” said Adriaan Coppens, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Qargo.
“As a trusted eCMR provider certified in the Benelux region, TransFollow was a natural choice to help us bring this workflow directly into Qargo.
“Through this partnership, we aim to save our customers valuable time by making it simple to create, issue, and sign eCMRs right from within our Transport Management platform.”
Growing demand for integrated eCMRs and other digital freight documents, particularly in France, Spain, and the Netherlands, underpins the collaboration as the European Union’s 2027 (eFTI) deadline for the acceptance of electronic freight data and digital documentation across international borders approaches.
