  1. Pavan Chandra Boggarapu appointed as VP of Product Management for Icertis

After a two-year tenure as Vice President of Product at upGrad, Pavan Chandra Boggarapu took to LinkedIn to announce his departure. He will be joining Icertis’ team as VP of Product Management. 

Icertis is a global leader in AI-powered contract intelligence, used by over 33% of Fortune 100 companies in order to realise the full intent of millions of commercial agreements in over 90 countries. The Icertis platform transforms contract management, providing customers with powerful insights and automation to grow revenue, control costs, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance.

  1. Lumax Industries names Raju Bhauso as new CEO 

Lumax Industries has appointed Raju Bhauso as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 1. He succeeds Vishnu Johri, who resigned from his position for personal reasons and will serve until June 30. Raju initially joined the company as Executive Director in October 2023. 

He holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Machine Design from Bangalore University and brings over three decades of extensive industry experience. He spent six years at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited and 26 years at Toyota Kirloskar Motors, where he held various roles, including Executive Vice President, DMD, and Environment Director.

  1. Sameer Bhansal appointed as the new CEO of PNB MetLife 

Past: Chief Distribution officer at PNB MetLife | Present: CEO at PNB MetLife 

PNB MetLife India Insurance has announced the appointment of Sameer Bansal as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, pending necessary regulatory approvals. 

Sameer succeeds Ashish Srivastava, who has been appointed Managing Director for MetLife Inc.’s Global Shared Services team in India. 

Having joined PNB MetLife in 2007, Sameer brings over 25 years of experience in financial services, with extensive and successful leadership in Distribution through Bancassurance, Agency, Digital, Employee Benefits, and Direct marketing business models. He currently serves as Chief Distribution Officer and is a member of the leadership team.

  1. Rahul Vijayvargiya joins Alkem Laboratories as SVP-HR 

Past: Head of Human Resources – Pharma, Reliance Retail | Present: Senior Vice President- Human Resources at Alkem Laboratories 

Alkem Laboratories has appointed Rahul Vijayvargiya as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. 

With over two decades of HR experience across diverse industries in India and international markets, Rahul brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. 

Rahul joins Alkem from Reliance Retail Ltd., where he served as Head of Human Resources for the Pharma Retail division. “His vast experience and leadership skills are a perfect fit for Alkem, and we are excited about the innovative contributions he will bring,” reads a company post on LinkedIn. 

A seasoned HR professional, Rahul has extensive experience managing a wide range of HR activities across multiple geographies, including India, the Middle East, and Africa. His background spans various industry verticals, such as automobile, HR consultancy, retail, and pharmaceuticals.

  1. Asirvad MFI appoints Satish Nair as CEO 

Past: Head of Treasury and Corporate Affairs at Vastu Housing Finance Corporation | Present: President and Chief Executive Officer at Asirvad MFI  

Asirvad Micro Finance Limited (Asirvad MFI), a subsidiary of Manappuram Finance Limited (MAFIL), has appointed Satish Nair as its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). 

Before joining Asirvad, Nair was associated with Vastu Housing Finance Corporation as the Head of Treasury and Corporate Affairs. He also has experience with Fitch Ratings, India Ratings & Research, and Brickwork Ratings. 

VP Nandakumar, Chairman of Asirvad, stated, “Satish joins us at a time when the microfinance sector is experiencing significant growth. He is the right person to help elevate the company’s reach and implement our vision of financial inclusion.”
